Reminder to update license plate information

The State of Kansas recently began issuing new license plates that include four numbers and three letters. If you have a new license plate, please update your information in the parking portal, which can be found in your myWSU under 鈥渆Permits,鈥� to avoid a citation.

You cannot edit your current listing. Instead you must delete it and add the new one. If you have questions, email wsuparking@wichita.edu or call 316-978-5526.

Parking Signage at WSU

小9直播's parking lot signage is designed to let drivers quickly determine if a parking lot is open to them.

The new signs scrap the color-only system in favor of a letter-based system. Now, visitors, students, faculty and staff can just look for corresponding letter signs without referring to a map to determine the meaning of lot color signs.

The signs feature prominent block letters: "V" for Visitors; "S" for Students; "F" for Faculty/Staff; and "H" for Shocker Hall residents. Reserved lots and parking spaces are still marked with red signage as before. The signs include lot numbers to allow for easier wayfinding.

Student Parking at WSU

During the enforcement period (7 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays when classes are in session), 小9直播 students must have a valid an ePermit to park on the WSU campus. Lots accessible to students with an ePermit are indicated in green below. Student-accessible parking lots are marked with a prominent green 鈥淪鈥� signage.

Visitors

Visitor Parking at WSU

As easy as V+3. During the enforcement period (7 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays when classes are in session), visitors may park without a permit for 3 calendar days during each semester in the lots indicated in blue below.

Visitor-accessible parking lots are marked with prominent 鈥淰鈥� signage. On your fourth visit to campus during a semester, visitors need to purchase an ePermit or use paid parking in the WSU Parking Garage (indicated in yellow below).

Faculty / Staff

Faculty / Staff Parking at WSU

During the enforcement period (7 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays when classes are in session), 小9直播 faculty and staff must have a valid ePermit to park on the WSU campus.

Lots accessible to faculty and staff with an ePermit are indicated in yellow below. Faculty-accessible parking lots are marked with a prominent yellow 鈥淔鈥� signage.
