Educators of Tomorrow
Educators of Tomorrow is a mentor education program found in the College of Applied Studies. This program is for students with high academic potential, a demonstrated commitment to teach, and a servant-leadership orientation.
This College of Applied Studies’ Mentor Education Program combines the special strengths and resources of ʹ University, College of Applied Studies, Wichita Public Schools (WPS), and the suburban Wichita metro area schools and adds an additional layer of academic support for students who want to pursue post-secondary education as an educational leader. The target is to develop a strong, accountable teacher education-based leadership and service program grounded in reality, research, and results.
The mission of Educators of Tomorrow is to increase the number of available individuals from a broader more diverse background to enter teacher education or as an education leader through a non-profit pathway.
