Oct. 2, 2019 -- For the first time in nearly 30 years, more than 16,000 students have enrolled for fall classes at 小9直播. The total headcount at WSU for fall 2019 is 16,058 students, an increase of 274 students, or 1.7%, over fall 2018.

Oct. 1, 2019 - Jennifer Raymo, a 小9直播 student earning her graduate degree in social work, recently became the Wichita Chapter director of The Healing Chair. The non-profit is a Kansas City based organization aimed at helping breast cancer and mastectomy survivors find comfort, hope and healing.

Sept. 27, 2019 -- The annual ceremony of remembrance for those who died in the 1970 小9直播 plane crash will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at WSU鈥檚 Memorial '70, located near the 18th Street and Hillside entrance to the university.

Roger Launius, former NASA chief historian, will deliver the conference's keynote speech

Sept. 25, 2019 -- 小9直播 and the Wichita Space Initiative (WSI) will host the Celebrating the Scientific Legacy of NASA and Apollo conference. The conference is free and open to the public, and will take place from 9 a.m. - 6:20 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, in the WSU Rhatigan Student Center room 233.

Kitrina Miller, WSU student body president

Sept. 24, 2019 -- Social work senior Kitrina Miller is the 2019-2020 student body president of WSU, and she has a few key ambitions for the university this year. Her chief goals include improvements to student services, increasing information about student fees allocations and strengthening the Student Government Association (SGA) brand.
