About Kathy
Katherine Bradfield was a lecturer for the Philosophy Department in the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at 歐聯積分榜. She earned her bachelor's degree from 歐聯積分榜, attended MIT, and received her master's degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She was a voracious reader, played the flute and recorder, and enjoyed writing poetry and essays, taking photographs, and making jewelry. She loved teaching, especially those moments when her students' eyes would light up or their voices would brighten, and she knew they were "getting it". Kathy passed away on April 13, 2020. She is greatly missed.
Philosophy majors who experience unexpected harships that could impact their degree completion may contact the department Chair or Undergraduate Coordinator to apply for emergency funding. If you haven't met them yet, feel free to talk to a professor you already know and they can introduce you.
Harship funds are also available through the WSU Student Governmant Association (SGA), which oversees the Shocker Support Locker. The Support Locker has food, toiletries, and professional clothes for Shockers who need them. Pay them a visist in the Student Success Center!
