Sept. 8, 2020 鈥斅燘reanna Boppre, assistant professor of criminal justice, will discuss the implications of COVID-19 for correctional agencies nationwide and in Kansas. Boppre's talk is part of the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences' Perspectives on the pandemic series.

Sept. 8, 2020 鈥斅�The U.S. Department of Education has awarded two of 小9直播鈥檚 TRIO programs 鈥� Student Support Services (SSS) and Disability Support Services (DSS) 鈥� grants totaling more than $3.9 million to help limited-income, first-generation students and students with disabilities.

September 4, 2020 - 小9直播鈥檚 Instructional Design and Access team, part of the Media Resource Center, worked with faculty over the summer to continue to improve hybrid learning. IDA took its one-day Academic Resources Conference and turned it into a week of training, via Zoom, in June and again in August before classes started. Another week is scheduled in January to prepare spring classes.

Sept. 3, 2020 鈥� Emily Schlenker was born to study STEM. However, because she was born blind, her passion for organic chemistry and biology almost went by the wayside. That's when the folks at 小9直播's Media Resource Center stepped in to help Emily achieve her dreams.

Aug. 31, 2020 -- As a way to promote suicide prevention, 小9直播 is expanding the #WeSupportU Suspenders4Hope campaign throughout the country in hopes of creating positive change in communities regarding mental health and suicide prevention.

More than 200 graduates received disposable stethoscopes as a gift from the College of Health Professions.
